PUZZLE #4 - SOLUTION
1. Connect - connect the + signs so that the number of lines protruding from any + was the number next to it - if you connect correctly, the number usage works out perfectly, and you will see a J shape in the resulting grid 2. Cut - cut out the shapes 3. Toss the J - yep! toss it! 4. Order (or arrange) - expert teams were told to order, which hopefully made them think to order linearly (and it appears it did - recreational teams were told to arrange and were given a piece of black paper on which to place the pieces - after finding the right ordering of shapes, the word FILLET could be read in negative space, as was suggested by the negative image instruction for step 4. on the puzzle |
