Each of the 7 multi-colored 8's on the puzzles can be broken down into primary colors: red, blue and yellow. Thus, each 8 produces 3 letters - letters that are spelled out in LED. The resultant phrase from decomposing the 8's is: HAIGHTS POPULAR CROSS ST. That street is Ashbury, which is an answer on the Answer Location Sheet, and took teams to the finish line at Martin Mack's on Haight Street, one-half block from the Haight-Ashbury intersection. |
